World Missions

Pastor Marvin N. Miles, like his father before him, has a vision and a heart for outreach ministry. Pastor Miles and International Gospel Center has reached out to various countries around the world in missionary work. He has established an orphanage in Haiti. Clothes and hundreds of pairs of shoes have been sent to help the suffering people of Afghanistan. International Gospel Center is truly “international” when it comes to serving people all over the world.

Men’s Retreat

International Gospel Center has a deep heritage of serving the “community at large” and the International Gospel Center Men’s Ministry is no exception.

The Men’s Retreat was founded 15 years ago by Elder Gary Miles to get the men together to bring strength and wholeness.

The first Men’s Retreat was held in October, 1999 and grows stronger every year..  Mens ministry serves to strengthen and empower men of God to continue in the faith and under the leadership of Elder Miles, it’s doing just that

Women’s Retreat

The Bible speaks about the wailing women and the cunning woman.  It’s imperative to any ministry.  The Women’s Retreat Committee under the leadership of Dr. Luvenia Miles holds to this mantra.

The Women’s Retreat began in October of 1994.  It was a success from the beginning.  The Lord impressed upon Mother Miles to do something for the women, not just of International Gospel Center, but worldwide.  Women gather once a year for wholeness and

Ladies’ Luncheon

Ladies Luncheon- The Ladies Luncheon is held yearly as a gathering for all woman to take a break and enjoy themselves.  First Lady Carolyn Miles is the chairperson for the luncheon and she and her committee provide a day long event which serves as a pampering session to all the woman that attend.   A plethora of vendors are on the scene with all kinds of wares for all the woman to view and purchase.  A lovely lunch is served and then the Word of God comes forth via an awesome speaker to empower and encourage the woman to continue on in God and success will be theres.

Sister to Sister Tea

The Sister to Sister Tea is an annual tea/luncheon founded by Sis. Henrietta Smith as a unique way for women of God to get together; whether it be blood sisters, sisters in the Lord or just a dear friend.  It’s a time of fellowship, fun and ministry.

M.I.M.E.

Ministry in Motion Exalting the Name of the Lord (M.I.M.E.) was formed in 1998 by LaShaundra Bean.  M.I.M.E. is comprised of several young people who, under the anointing, physically minister in song.  Their artistic expression captivates their audience as they express the love of Jesus Christ through interpretive dance. 

 

Children’s Church

Train up a child in the way it should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.  You won’t find Children’s Church as usual here.  While the Word of God is going forth in regular church, the Word of God is going forth in Children’s Church.  The children are ministered to in various ways in which they can understand and retain.  Children Church Director, Karen Crockett, is always thinking of innovative ways to keep the children interested in the ways of the Lord. Children’s Ministry is the avenue used by International Gospel Center to break down the vision and the word spoken in the house at an age-appropriate level for children ages 4-12.
Our purpose is to instill the character, biblical foundations and principles of Christ into the hearts and minds of all children. Our mission is to equip children at their present age to develop an understanding of Christ that they would begin to develop and build a personal relationship with Christ.
